Power off & verify
The circuit breaker for the fixture is turned off and power is verified with a tester before any wiring is touched. No shortcuts on electrical safety.
Remove old fixture
The old fixture is carefully removed, wiring is disconnected, and the mounting hardware is assessed. We confirm the junction box is rated for the new fixture's weight.
Install new fixture
The new fixture is wired, mounted, and secured. Ceiling fans get a balance check and speed test. Outdoor fixtures get a weatherproof seal check.
Test & cleanup
Power is restored and the fixture is tested. Old fixture and packaging are removed — you're left with a clean, working installation.
